The Kansas State volleyball team lost 29-31, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17 to Oklahoma on Saturday in Norman, Okla. The Wildcats were led by JuliAnne Chisholm, who had 22 kills, and Washburn Rural product Kelsey Chipman, who had 14 kills and 10 digs. The loss drops K-State to 8-14 overall and 2-10 in the Big 12, while Oklahoma improves to 15-7 and 8-5.

Oklahoma State entered Saturday night’s nationally televised showdown with Texas hoping to prove they were contenders in the Big 12 South but Robinson threw four interceptions in the 41-14 loss – the most lopsided loss at home since 2w005 – in front of a record-setting crowd of 58,516 at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Key play: Danario Alexander’s 73-yard catch over the middle and run for a touchdown that gave Missouri a 13-0 lead. Key stat: 1. Derrick Washington’s 1-yard touchdown run that capped an 11-play, 80-yard scoring drive marked the first time Missouri has scored a touchdown on its opening drive of a game this season.
