KU asks football assistants to pack up offices

Change has begun quickly within the Kansas football program. Sources told The Star that KU’s assistant coaches were asked to pack up their offices on Tuesday, a day after Turner Gill officially took over as head coach. Wide-receivers coach David Beaty, a key to the Jayhawks’ recruiting efforts in Texas, is the only assistant who is being considered as a potential member of Gill’s staff.
